How I found out I was Pregnant

I finally admitted to my mother that my boyfriend and I were having sex right before Christmas break last year. The first appointment she could get to take me to get birth control was during finals week so I couldn't make it and the only other opening they had was after the new year, so I waited. My appointment finally came on February 19th, I'm a very shy person when it comes to my body so sitting in that waiting room knowing that this person I had never met before was about to invade my personal bubble I was very nervous. I went back, they took a urine sample, she asked me some questions about my sex life, and then she did her examination, the usual. She left and came back with the birth control and told me the ins and outs of taking it, how long it would take to regulate, everything like that. Most people ask me how I could of went that long and not noticed I didn't have a period. I've always had irregular periods. About every other year I go 3 to 4 months without a period, so when it happened this time I thought it was normal because before then I was still a virgin. But to be safe I took about 8 different pregnancy test, 2, 4 different times and they all came back negative. So after her long, annoying speech she let me go, right before we walked out the last door I remembered I needed a school excuse so her secretary had me and my mother sit down and wait. We sat there for about 5 minutes and she had us move back to a room, I thought that was pretty strange if we were just waiting for a piece of paper to tell my school I had missed for the doctor. When we asked her what was going on she just kind of brushed us off and said the doctor would be in to talk to us and closed the door. We waited and waited and then finally the door opened. Before she even got the door closed the doctor says, " You lied to me, you're pregnant!", I guess she was talking about the conversation we had had earlier. My mom, who was sitting on the doctor stool literally would of hit the ground if the wall wasn't behind her. We all kind of stood there for a few minutes in disbelief and my doctor just kept yapping on about my options. Finally my mom told her we would have to go home and discuss it with my father and boyfriend and we would get back to her. After we left the hospital the first thing my mom did was stop and buy her a doughnut, that was one of the most awkward rides I've had. I also never got that school excuse, but that was the least of my worries.
